These are 4 minutes worth your while on any day. The person with whom we find it most difficult to be understanding is, surprisingly, ourselves. Watch this and take good note of its message.
Listen to some soothing music:
Heroboard music is a great music channel. Play some of these tracks to do some deep breathing or light stretching and get some of the edge off. This is a particular nice playlist to unwind.
Read good news:
News can get anyone down. If you’re having a particular crappy day I recommend you read some good news. The Good News Network is a nice reminder that there actually are kind things going on in the world. Who knows? you might even end up feeling inspired.
Start a new book:
Sometimes a lousy day just calls for a good book we can lose ourselves into. This is a good list of suggestions with many inspiring titles to choose from.
You don’t have to do an extreme workout (if you don’t want to). Go for a slow walk, stretch or dance around in your room instead. Physical movement has been proven to fight feelings of anxiety and frustration. Why not just give it a try?
